Prior to each child leaving us for school, he or she will have had a wealth of learning experience.
In particular, our pre-school children are all taught to:
- Put on and take off shoes and clothes
- Brush teeth and hair
- Use the toilet unattended
- Know all shapes and colours
- Become familiar with the letters and their sounds
- Have a basic knowledge of numbers, addition and subtraction
- Pencil control and the ability to write and recognise their own written name
- Self discipline - site quietly for stories etc, to share, to follow and listen to simple instructions, to use cutlery and tidy up after themselves
- Interact in conversation, group games, projects etc
